Cody Brown and his fourth wife Robin Brown have been attacked over their spending habits. They both seem to have a passion for retail therapy. A shock at the terrible loss of Garrison Brown reverberates through the Sister Wives Universe.

Cody and Robin Brown may be drowning their grief with retail therapy. When the series premiered in 2010, Cody was married to his first three wives: Mary, Janelle, and Christine Brown. Cody, his marriages, and their many offspring all lived in a large house in Utah. Each wife had her own wing where she lived with her children.

During Sister Wives season 1, Cody married his fourth wife Robin. He transferred the Brown family out of Utah and into four separate residences in Arizona and eventually Las Vegas. This separated the family, and Cody had less time for each of his wives and children.

COVID-19 also created havoc, exposing existing resentments and rifts. During Sister Wives season 18, Christine left Cody, and two other wives will soon do the same. That’s why Cody ended up in an inadvertently monogamous relationship with Robin.

Through The Years, Cody and Robin have been chastised for hanging out at malls. Cody and Robin Brown have been called out for spending so much time at malls. Retail therapy recently? Cody and Robin were photographed at Caesar’s Palace Mall in Las Vegas, Nevada. And it’s probable that Cody and Robin are shopping right now while spending time in Sin City.

Gwendlyn Brown Claims Christine Told Her Kody Doesn't Love Her

This high-end mall is home to several expensive businesses, including Gucci, Burberry, and Fendi. The sighting is enough to make one wonder if Cody and Robin, who are mourning Garrison’s sad death, are numbing their anguish by buying goods.

Cody and Robin regularly get flack for their financial choices. The Browns committed a lot of their family funds to acquire some coyote pass land in Arizona. They wanted to develop it and live there someday. When it was time for Janelle to find a house, her money was tied up at coyote pass. Instead of aiding her, Cody bought a large home for Robin, leaving Janelle to fend for herself. Janelle had to live in a trailer on the estate until she secured her own apartment. She later left Cody.

Wendy Brown said Cody overspends. Money matters. Fans aren’t the only ones questioning Cody and Robin’s spending habits. In March 2023, Cody and Christine’s daughter Gwendlyn Brown made a YouTube video in which she sees a Sister Wives episode and responds. In the footage, Gwendlyn talks about her concerns about her father and Robin’s financial choices. While answering a fan query, Gwendlyn replied, “I think that my dad and Robin have a terrible habit of spending very crazy and like not within their means at all.”

Not only did Gwendlyn accuse Cody and Robin of overspending, but she went on to claim that Christine, Janelle, and Mary would be better off without her dad. She even added that Cody’s past spouses totally deserve the money he has spent with Robin. Since marrying Robin, Cody has struggled to maintain decent connections with his elder children.

Janelle & Kody Brown Split Bombshell To Drop During Tell-All?

Prior to Garrison’s untimely death by suicide, Cody had been battling with his sons for not following his rigorous COVID-19 regulations. Cody Brown was spotted wearing a pricey David Yurman pendant. Expensive taste. Cody attended the graduation of his daughter Savannah Brown, and in May 2023, Savannah uploaded a photo of her and her father at the celebration.

Eagle-eyed Sister Wives viewers saw the costly jewelry dangling around Cody’s neck. Internet sleuths got to work and established that the necklace was a sterling silver shield amulet necklace designed by David Yurman. It incorporates lapis lazuli and sapphire and retails for roughly $11,100. Fans were appalled by the fact that Cody spends so much money on himself considering the financial problems that several Sister Wives fans have found themselves in.

Cody once justified himself, saying, “I’m separated from my children because they kicked me out of my home.” I haven’t got the emotional courage to seek out. In addition to spending on himself, Cody has showered Robin and her children with gifts. One example of Cody’s not spending enough on his other family was exposed in Sister Wives season 18. He didn’t give Savannah anything for Christmas. Savannah added, “I was really sad. It’s my dad. Now I’m just mad with him. No presence, nothing.”

Christine and Janelle were likewise bewildered by the incident. However, Cody defended himself by adding, “I’m separated from my children because they kicked me out of my home. I haven’t got the emotional courage to seek out.” Cody and Robin Brown live in a fancy house. Curb appeal. According to Daily Mail in 2019, Cody and Robin closed on a 4,400-square-foot, five-bedroom home in Flagstaff, Arizona, for a whopping $900,000.
