The Bold and the Beautiful star explains that Deacon has always been on the hunt for that family vibe. Now, it looks like he’s kind of building one from scratch. Sean noted, “He’s got Hope, he’s got Sheila, and he’s really taken Tom under his wing.” Additionally, he highlighted the importance of relationships in a family. “Sometimes family is the people we bring into our lives as opposed to just those who are related to us by blood.”
Furthermore, Kanan believes that it’s not such a bad thing that Deacon has not connection with his biological family. “Remember, he doesn’t know who his father is. He knows his stepfather, who’s a real piece of work.” However, the character still remains in the dark about his mother’s identity.
