Thorsten Kaye, who plays Ridge, wasn’t the only back-to-back winner at the 51st Annual Daytime Emmys. Jeresa Featherstone, Bold and the Beautiful‘s costumer, won at the Creative Arts ceremony on Saturday for Costume Design Styling for the second year in a row. Soap Hub was at the awards and chatted with Featherstone about her win — and the on-screen drama unfolding at Forrester Creations!

Always in Fashion

Featherstone says that the show’s winning reel consisted of scenes involving the fashion presentation in Rome, the Ridge/Eric (John McCook) fashion face-off, and Eric’s farewell party, which, fortunately, was not a final goodbye!

As viewers have seen recently, Forrester Creations, which is always front and center on B&B, is taking even more prominence given Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wanting to keep the Logans — namely Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Hope (Annika Noelle) — at bay.

“It’s getting spicy!” Featherstone teases about the drama at Forrester Creations. The two-time Daytime Emmy-winner’s talents extend to fashions off-camera; she designed her own gown that she wore to the Creative Arts ceremony. “I fell in love with the fabric,” she says. “We just draped a little something and threw it together.”

Featherstone has two Daytime Emmys now, but unlike other Golden Girls they won’t be living together. “I’m going to keep this one with me,” she says. “My first one went home to my parents.”

Featherstone shares her award with her B&B team, which includes Anabel Shuckhart, wardrobe supervisor; Lucy Flores, Jennifer Johns, and Patrice Johnson, wardrobe stylists; Ross Fuentes, Gail Mosley, and Angelo Santos, costume stylists.
