The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, June 12, double down on what a coward Victor is. He can’t accept that he was unable to protect Nikki from Jordan or admit that his solution was a terrible one, while Jack actually noticed that Victor’s wife was struggling and offered help. So instead of supporting Nikki or taking responsibility for screwing up with Jordan, Victor is focusing his rage on Jack and making some of his famous Victor Newman pronouncements.

Do As I Say, Not as I Do

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wants Jack (Peter Bergman) to continue being her sponsor. Victor (Eric Braeden) does not want this to happen. So what is there to discuss? Nikki won’t see Jack anymore.

Now, let’s have some more tea, my baby. Victor thinks the subject is closed. Nikki does not. She pushes back. Which first confuses Victor. Then convinces him even more that this is all Jack’s fault. And he’ll pay for inspiring Victor’s wife to think for herself!

Truth or Dare

Claire’s (Hayley Erin) entire family has forgiven her for the little whoopsie where she tried to kill all the Newman. And yet she still sees herself as a poor, friendless waif standing out in the rain, probably selling damp matches. Kyle (Michael Mealor), for his part, sees himself as a brave, strong, heroic grown-up, rescuing damsels in distress without missing a moussed hair on his head.

Unfortunately, all the women in his life recently — Summer (Allison Lanier), Audra (Zuleyka Silver) — are tougher than he is and don’t need any rescuing. Do you know who does need rescuing? Claire. And you know whose house Claire is currently working in….?

Company Town

Victor has yet another brilliant plan for how he will restructure his company, and he expects all those around him to fall in line. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) is the furthest up his corporate food chain, so she needs to fall in line the fastest. Except Nick (Joshua Morrow) is wondering if his sister plans to do that — or will she, like their mother, dare voice a conflicting opinion of her own?
