The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, June 13, prove that Victor has no power over anyone as Cole ignores him and continues to grow closer to Victoria, while Summer tries to keep Kyle in line.

Feels Like Old Times

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) was still a teenager when she first fell in love with Cole (J. Eddie Peck). There was the minor issue that he might have been her half-brother. Also, Cole’s affair with Victoria’s mother, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), and her on-and-off stepmother, Ashley (Eileen Davidson). They thought they lost their newborn daughter, Eve, and that was more or less the end of their marriage. But now Eve has miraculously returned to them.

Will their relationship rekindle as well? Not if Victor (Eric Braeden) has anything to say about it! He is so mad at Cole for keeping Victor from going to jail over Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) kidnapping that his punishment is to forgive Cole for being with Victoria. Victor assumes now that he’s said so, the estrangement is a done deal. Would Cole dare disobey such a great man? Uhm… yeah. He totes would.

Mother Hood

Victor has also decided that Kyle (Michael Mealor) would make a good weapon in his fight against Jack (Peter Bergman). Not only is Victor furious at Cole for keeping him out of jail, but he is also incensed that Jack helped Nikki in her struggle with alcoholism. He’ll pay, too. Eventually.

In the meantime, Kyle is messing up his own life enough by refusing to let Summer (Allison Lanier) have an equal say in Harrison’s (Redding Munsell) life. Sure, she’s not Harrison’s biological mother, and she never even adopted him. But if Kyle is forcing Harrison to call this woman Mommy, then he should listen when Summer says she has concerns. Nah. Kyle won’t be doing that.
