With Bold & Beautiful clearly ramping up the legendary feud between the Logans and the Forresters, battle lines are being drawn. As usual, Ridge is caught in the middle thanks to the fact that his daughter and step-daughter are the ones waging war this time around. But like so many other recent storylines, this one has us thinking that there’s a major player missing. Because while Hope has mom Brooke on hand to offer her support, Steffy’s mom is… well, out there somewhere.

But according to SoapHub, a casting call has gone out that leaves us thinking maybe, just maybe, Taylor will soon return to support Steffy the way Brooke has Hope. The site says that Bold & Beautiful is looking for an actress between 45 and 50 years old to play “Sabrina,” described as a “strong, sophisticated leading lady.”

Sounds an awful lot like Taylor, doesn’t it?

Truth be told, we were big fans of Krista Allen’s take on the character and more than a little shocked when the soap bumped the Emmy-nominee to recurring. Ultimately, that move left Allen rejecting an offer to return for a few episodes, which her agent reported at the time amounted to a few lines in a single episode after months of not having appeared.

Soon after her exit, Allen relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. “This was the right move for me,” she told us shortly after making the trek. As for Taylor’s future, the actress hoped that eventually, someone new would step into the part. “Taylor is needed,” she told us. “There’s a big fanbase that wants to see her be there for her kids, and who want to see this woman they’ve loved for decades find happiness.”
